Several towns border the Chain O’Lakes including: Fox Lake, Fox Lake Hills, Lake Villa, Antioch, Spring Grove, Pistakee Highlands, Johnsburg, Volo, McHenry and Ingleside. Along the lake, boosts great fishing, canoeing, hunting, swimming and more. There are a variety of restaurants throughout the waterway including the famous Blarney Island.
